Shipping Information

 

Where do you ship?

Currently we ship to all 50 U.S. States and the District of Columbia. Our shipping rates apply to orders shipped to the 48 contiguous U.S. States (including Washington D.C.). However, shipping charges will be applied on shipments to Alaska and Hawaii. We do not ship to P.O. boxes.

When will my order ship?

All orders will ship within two (2) business days order is received and payment is authorized.  For orders shipped via common carrier (greater than 150 lbs), every effort will be made for delivery within 5 -10 business days. All Fed Ex Ground shipments (less than 150 lbs) will typically arrive within 4-7 business days.

Delivery Times

All delivery dates are estimates. We cannot guarantee specific deadlines. These are standard delivery times and do not account for exceptional situation (i.e. weather).  We recommend you do not schedule installation until you receive your product.

How much is Shipping?

Shipping is automatically calculated prior to submitting your payment information based upon your “Ship To” location and total weight.  Simply add items to your cart and proceed to the Checkout page where the shipping costs and options are identified. You can select which method you prefer at checkout.

Do you offer expedited shipping?

Yes we do offer expedited shipping for small package orders and samples (less than 150 lbs).  You can select Fed Ex Express Saver Services (3 business days) as a shipping option when you are checking out and those extra charges will apply.  Should you want “Rush Delivery” please contact Customer Care at 1-888-660-8667 for cost details and options.

Methods of Shipment

Tile and Stone products are very heavy which makes these products more expensive to ship when compared to other items you can purchase online (such as clothing, electronics, etc.) To ensure the safest method of shipment, orders may ship in multiple outer cartons or, if over 150 lbs., the order will be palletized and shipped via common carrier. This is to insure a minimum amount of breakage during transport.

Shipping 150 lb. or less (Fed Ex Ground):

Orders weighing 150 lbs. or less are shipped FedEx Ground. Please allow 4-7 days shipping time excluding holidays and weekends. It is important for you to inspect all packages carefully upon receipt. On the rare occasion that your package(s) has been damaged by the carrier, if possible please have the driver note damage on the bill of lading, or refuse to accept delivery.  If there is a problem, please notify us immediately and we will promptly ship replacement materials

Please note that FedEx Ground typically will be left at your door if you are not there at the time of delivery. If you require other arrangements, please contact Customer Service at (888) 660-8667 to coordinate the shipping and receipt of your order.

Shipping 151 lbs. or more (via Common Carrier):

Orders weighing 151 lbs. or more are shipped common carrier. We will send you an e-mail confirming your order has shipped along with tracking number(s).  For all Common Carrier deliveries, Classictileandstone issues a special instruction to the carrier to contact the customer prior to delivery so that you will know when to expect them. Please allow 5-10 days shipping time excluding holidays and

Common carrier deliveries require you to be present at the time of delivery to sign for the delivery receipt, unload the order, and inspect the shipment/order for any damage.  For residential deliveries, the truck will be equipped with a lift gate (included in your freight charge). Our residential delivery is CURBSIDE only.  The driver will not bring the material into your home. If you are disabled and/or have no way of assisting the driver, please call our office and we will explain the extra fee to have the material unloaded.

When your order arrives, it is very important that you inspect the shipment to be sure the quantities match what you ordered. Visually inspect the condition and entirety of the shipment, make sure to note missing items or damaged materials. DO NOT let the driver leave until you have verified the material received is in good condition and that all material has been accounted for.

If there is missing or damaged material: Note any damage or shortage on the delivery slip before the driver leaves.  Please contact Customer Care immediately (888) 660-8667 so we may assist you.  If there is any damaged material, it must be noted on the paperwork in order for us to issue replacement material to you and for us to be properly reimbursed by the trucking company. If there is any damaged material, we will immediately reship your replacement for this material, as long as it was noted in the paperwork. We will promptly ship replacement materials.

Should you accept damaged goods by signing for them, the claim for damage becomes your responsibility, and we may not be able to assist you in processing this claim. IF PRODUCTS ARE DAMAGED, NOT NOTED ON DELIVERY RECIEPT AND YOU SIGN FOR IT, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR FILING THE FREIGHT CLAIM DIRECTLY WITH THE CARRIER, NO EXCEPTIONS
 
What if my merchandise is damaged?
 
We work with Fed Ex and various common carrier companies to deliver your order free of damage.  However, in the unlikely event that your merchandise arrives damaged, you should contact us at (888) 660-8667 immediately for assistance.

My order never arrived or part of my order is missing.

Click the "My Account / Order Status" link at the top right hand side of our site to track your order status. Be sure that all of the items in your order have shipped already (orders might be shipped in multiple cartons). If your order displays your Package Tracking Numbers, check with the shipper to confirm that your packages were delivered. If your packages each show a status of "delivered", please contact Customer Care at (888)660-8667 for assistance.

What if some tiles are damaged in shipment?

It is rare that damage occurs during shipment; however, if there is damage we will immediately replace the damaged item. Simply let us know which piece is damaged and we will ship you a replacement as soon as possible.

Should you find damaged tiles due to improper handling contact us immediately so we can assist you in filing a damage claim or otherwise remedy the situation. Remember to save all shipping cartons as they may need to be inspected by the shipping company. For freight shipments, note any signs of external damage on the delivery receipt and report them to the driver.  Then contact our office so we can assist you further. In any case, every effort is made to replace the damaged materials as quickly as possible in order to minimize any delays to your project.
